Japan Chapter held its Annual General Meeting and New Officers Installation Ceremony on Monday, June 9, 2008 in Tokyo. New officers for the chapter were elected as follows: President： Yoshifumi Kobayashi, CPCU, AIC, The Jiken Center Co. , Ltd.Vice President：Yuji Kawauchi, CPCU, Sompo Japan Insurance Inc.Secretary： Nobuo Yoshii, CPCU, ARe, Tokio Marine & Nichido Fire Ins. Co., Ltd.Treasurer： Takashi Nishimura, CPCU, ARM, Mitsui Sumitomo Ins. Co., Ltd.Following the Installation Ceremony, new task force chairpersons and committee leaders were announced, and a 2008 new designee Tatsuya Sudo, Mitsui Sumitomo Ins. Co., Ltd., was also introduced.After the meeting, Robin K. Olson, CPCU, CRIS, ARM, ARP, President-elect of Dallas Chapter, made a presentation of Wind vs. Flood issues and other updates in the U.S. P&C market.
